Bolted this badass to my Telecoustic (you’ll find out soon) and she sounds awesome. The letter was fantastic and the wrapping was a REALLY nice touch. I will be framing that and hanging it in my room (by the way, THESE COST 3 BUCKS AT ONE POINT?! How long have y’all been rolling for!?) Looking forward to running this baby at gigs and my local church. Just turned my 100 dollar beginner’s instrument into a one-of-a-kind ,1000 dollar behemoth! Worth the wait.

Just installed my Victory Gold Foil in my Gretsch 9220 dobro ( Fishman Nashville pickup). First impression is the Victory GF gives the Fishman Nashville a run for it’s money on a “Clean Acoustic” sound. (Nashville plugged into 100W Fishman Loudbox, the Victory GF into Boogie TA-15/Eminence Swamp Thing speaker) By itself the acoustic sound is “High Fi” but a little nasally sounding and the single note tone is thin. Both together fixes everything, sounds huge!!! Awesome ! M Lawrie

Just a quick note. Sometimes in life you need to take a moment and do something that you should, but don’t always, do. So here’s a positive message.
I got your Victory Toaster Acoustic pickup a couple of days ago and have just finished putting it in “Blackie,” my venerable Martin 000 SP. Took me a moment of consternation (the action on Blackie is characteristically low) to realize that the surface is curved and I had it in backwards. Wired it directly to the factory Martin 4 lug plug to run in parallel with the Prefix active pup.
So here is my initial review. 🙂
Wow. Stop, repeat that. Wow… no, yes, Wow. OH, !
1. Great design that works, is clearly well done and has the feel of quality. Sits right where it should and feels solidly anchored with the standard mounting. No holes, no muss, no fuss.
2. Really, really, visually attractive. Has the retro vibe but looks clean and neat. Great stage appeal!
3. The sound. ! Fab single coil sound that, as I hoped, gives a new dimension to Blackie. Looking for the Ray Willie Hubbard sort of vibe and this nails it!

I ordered it on December 27th and received it on January 3rd! It looks even better then it does in the picture. Sounds great if your into that 50’s and early 60’s tone and you can’t beat the price for a hand made pickup. Now that is a victory 🙂

I put my Lowrider pickup on my old tri-cone resonator guitar. I absolutely love the sound. I’ve got a single coil lipstic pickup on my other resonator and I prefer the Lowrider. Also, it’s the coolest looking pickup I’ve ever seen. Sounds great out of my tube amp. I will definitely be a repeat customer because I also build cigar box guitars. Can’t wait to try a lowrider on one of those.

Great looking and fitting. I have tried other goldfoils,though they sounded pretty good, they did not offer the fit for true surface mounting. Also plenty of lead and an extra piece for more if needed. Love the packaging too!
